Nurse Corps Scholarship Program (NCSP) is a federally funded program that provides scholarships to students pursuing a nursing degree in exchange for a commitment to work in a critical shortage facility upon graduation. NCSP is administered by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
NCSP is designed to address the shortage of nurses in underserved communities. The program provides scholarships to students who are committed to working in these communities after graduation. NCSP scholars receive full tuition and fees, a monthly stipend, and health insurance. In return, scholars must commit to working for two years in a critical shortage facility.
